Jay Jay Lozano
(guitar / vocals / harmonica / synth)
Whoever “started the band” automatically becomes the “leader of the band”, right? There’s definitely point to that, but Jay Jay’s more than just “the one who started it all”. Main songwriter and musical arranger, not to mention the funkiest dancer, Jay Jay’s been tagged as the one who influences both his band mates and the crowd the most with his charisma and all-around talent. Now that’s what a real frontman is all about. He finds inspiration from The Four Freshmen, Serge Gainsbourg, Marcos Valle, The Beach Boys, Harmony Grass, and Sun Ra. Interesting Tidbit: Jay Jay’s a charmer-slash-serial-lover. Kidding about the latter of course.

Rocky Collado
(drums / vocals)
Where else can you find someone who’d do bass line vocals then switch to Mike Love all in one go? Rocky Collado is the epitome of ease, variety, and showmanship. He wows the crowd each time with his rendition of The Shadows’ Little B, which is actually popular for its ridiculously difficult drum solo. He’s also known as the “talker” and does most of the witty remarks and spiels during gigs. He’s also a fantastic lyricist, teaming up with Jay Jay for the words to their most popular original, Wala Nang Iba. He finds inspiration from Mike Love and swing drummer Gene Krupa. Interesting Tidbit: Rocky does amazing artwork on paper. He’s got ADD too. Hehe. Send cheers to Rocky at rocky@thebloomfieldsband.com
Louie Poco
(bass / vocals)
Also known as the “Livewire”, the band just won’t make the cut without Louie’s unstoppable energy. Notice how he always takes over the stage with his wild moves? He hypes up the crowd and keeps them on their toes all the time. Besides the wild moves, rock ‘n’ roll won’t be rock ‘n’ roll without the wild vocals too. Louie takes care of that and does most of the “shouting” for tracks such as Good Golly Miss Molly (Lil Richard) and Long Tall Sally (The Beatles). He finds inspiration from The Who, The Animals, The Kinks, and of course, The Beatles. Interesting Tidbit: Louie is also into art and sculpture. He’s an Industrial Design major at the University of the Philippines – Diliman. Send cheers to Louie at louie@thebloomfieldsband.com
Lakan Hila
(keyboards / synth / vocals)
“The White Guy Over There”? You must be talking about Lakan Hila. What’s there to say about Lakan besides being a genius on the keyboards? He does most of the “broken chords” for vocals too. That wasn’t an insult by the way – “broken chords” are actually very difficult to pull off, and Lakan pulls it off quite well. He does most of the arrangement, and finds inspiration from Style Council, Teenage Fanclub, Jerry Lee Lewis, and The Who. Oh, and in case you forget, he’s the Great Balls o’ Fire dude, too. Interesting Tidbit: Lakan is “silent but deadly”. He doesn’t talk much, but as a musician, he’s ridiculously unbelievable – he can play ANYTHING. Send cheers to Lakan at lakan@thebloomfieldsband.com
Pepe Lozano
(guitar / vocals)
Killer smile, killer looks, fun-loving nature – Pepe’s obviously the one who wins people’s hearts. It’s not a surprise that girls just love him. Don’t be deceived by those boyband qualities though – he’s not just a pretty face, cheesy as it may sound. This dude’s got real talent. He’s a killer musician/performer, knocking people’s socks off each time with his powerful voice. Case in point: listen to his rendition of Do You Love Me (Dave Clark 5). He finds inspiration from Brian Wilson (The Beach Boys), The Beatles, and Fine Instant Noodles. Interesting Tidbit: One word – Pepe-isms. It’s a private joke, but who knows? The rest of the world might find out eventually… so stay tuned. ;-) Send cheers to Pepe at pepe@thebloomfieldsband.com
